The informal dining room at Sumaridge is open every day (excluding Christmas Day) from 12 noon until 3pm.

We offer generous lunch platters, which can be paired with Sumaridge's award winning wines. Please advise staff should you have any known food allergies.

You can choose to enjoy your platters either in the Dining Room or in our wonderful gardens beside the dam. We are sorry but swimming in the dam is NOT allowed.

With a minimum of 24 hour’s notice - and subject to the weather forecast(!) - we are pleased to be able to offer picnics in the grounds around the dam.

We also offer a “little guests” menu and high chairs are available.

Booking is advisable, but not essential. However, for parties of eight or more, please call in advance to check availability.

Outside our usual opening hours, and by prior arrangement,  the tasting room and dining room are available for private dinners.

By special arrangement with Walter Pretorius, it is sometimes possible to arrange private dinners in the “sanctum sanctorum” within the actual cellar.
